The job that never ends (where I have worked, sometimes 13-hour days, for 11 of the last 18 work days plus 1/2 a Saturday) is almost over. Tomorrow I will work there one last (possibly very long) day, and then I'm off to Wiscon until Monday night. Worked a 12-hour day today.
I've been at this client almost every day this week, and several days the week before, and will be there tomorrow (Saturday) at least half the day.

My hands are raw from pulling and terminating cable.

I called FedEx to schedule a pickup of two heavy boxes. These boxes were being shipped back to the manufacturer, using the FedEx number of the people who sold them to us.

Slept poorly. so I called in "sick." (I told Myra I had just slept poorly, and wondered if there was anything on the board for today, and there was not, so no big deal)

I intend on spending the day reading and fooling about with MP3s. I'll probably go to Hot Doug's.

I've let my LJ habits slack off a bit...As my profile clearly states, "this is my account of my life...mostly the bad parts." And there haven't actually been that many bad parts recently:

I am now the cotton candy maven at the rink. When there is cotton candy to be made, I am the man.
