Well, according to the clarification, the question does not apply to me; I never lived in a dorm. I lived with my parents until I went through a succession of house shares and apartments.

I'm still friends with the people I shared with who are still in Illinois and reconnected on-line with one other. I've pretty much lost touch with the others, including some I was very close to at the time.

i just saw a picture of wes, which was taken within the last couple years. looked like his hair was all white! (he was still with cyndi; cool.)

My freshman year roommate was my best friend Steve. We had been friends when we were both in high school, and we are still friends -- but I don't think we would have stayed that way if we'd stayed roommates!

During sophomore year I had a frat boy roommate who moved out after one semester. That was when I lost faith in the University's ability to pick roommates: the only thing we had in common was our major. After that year I finally wised up and got my own apartment.

Good thing I didn't vote earlier when I first saw the post. With the ETA I don't qualify.

My first two years I lived with my parents (and their many children). The last two years were in a household with four other fans. I married one, haven't seen or talked to one other in the last ten years (but kept in touch before then) and touch base with all the others a couple times a year. Quite an accomplishment when I remember that we all left school in 1981.

Well, I'm networked with my only actual college roommate networked on LinkedIn, but otherwise haven't talked in years.

One of my numerous suitemates is on LJ, but not on my flist; she's kind of scary.

Everyone else I've lost track of totally.
