This is a srs meme about your characters, and the affect the City has had on them psychologically, whether for better or for worse, specifically in the area of people coming and going ( Read more... )

lol awesome icon is awesome. Yeaaaaaaaah...I really should be making more icons for Doumeki from the new chapter because I think it's the most expression he's shown this whole series, but this got me caught up.

Oh man, fourth wall curses. Doumeki like...lives for those now. Because his friends sometimes come back. And he's like...hungry for that contact again. He's starved for it.

But jesus, Arkham XD poor Lady.

I was thinking that it could be something people could start slowly incorporating into their characters. Because poly gets so busy sometimes that it's hard to think about the end result psychologically, but it's something that we should consider.

Huh...you know, this relates to a vague thought I had during the 4th wall curse that I brushed aside, and now I'm thinking I should've thought about it more closely ( ... )

Ugh, I was going to resist typing up bits of what Ahiru feels, but I keep coming back to this so I might as well do a brief summary. XD ( ... )

I can understand why she looks at things that way--that's very Ahiru. And honestly, I think because of that whole ending for her, it would make it easier for her to adapt to the City. And honestly that line of thinking is something that Doumeki would follow also, consciously. But there's always the subconscious that characters can't really control.

Baaaaaaaw Ahiru D:

Yeah. I think that if the series had ended differently she'd probably react differently to relationships in the City, but since it's pretty much just her life set on loop...she makes the best of it. (Although because of it, her secret fear is everyone forgetting about her--I think that might've come up in a curse once, not sure.)

My characters are so dependent on their SOs. XD;;;

I think it happens to a lot of people, actually. F'r instance, I take notes on character stuff over time and I have one line to myself from a few months back going, "The City's giving Roxas an abandonment complex! I find this hilariousRoxas... is probably the more affected of my two. He has less trust for the idea that anyone he knows is going to stay. (SEE: constant trips to the Hall of the Missing; it's not just because he likes the quiet!) The City's made him place even more importance on memory than he ever did before, though, and he just kind of goes ...:/ when people come back without remembering him. Being friends doesn't really change just because the other person forgot, which just makes it... worse somehow ( ... )

Roxas is still trying to understand the strange bizarre Willowology that goes on in her head! He'd think of her often in a quiet, confused way - should this hurt? does the loss exist? - but I don't think he'd be properly upset.

Clearly this is a sign that she needs to talk to him more until he would be upset at her exit. :D

I am totally fine with this plan ~ ♥♥

Willow is still trying to understand the fact that Roxas apparently has no heart or emotions or whatever, okay. Although now she's met Demyx, so. Who knows XD

YAY NOTES 8DDDD

♥ Oh god, that's definitely one way to use the City!Death to your advantage. But it's a great excuse for that sort of thing, to be sure.
♥ That's a good point. The City does make it pretty hard to protect the people that are important to you, between the curses and the really really dangerous people in the City. I can see why something like that would wear on someone also.

That took a while to read.

Uta's only been in the City for a few months, though she had to deal with Amu disappearing for a while. She reappeared with her memories intact, so it was and ok experience for her... It did make her want to spend more time with Amu though, as she thinks Amu might just disappear on her suddenly again.

She's also seen how a disappearance affected someone. Yuuki lost Zero for a while, Misao lost Kenshin for a while to. While she doesn't say it outright, it has made her realize that nothing is permanent in the City.

That said, she chooses to have an optimistic attitude about it. If they go home, they're better off. Although I'm not certain how she will deal with losing someone like Yuuko, Hiiragi, Konata... it might make sense that the City does need support groups.

And my muse being the social one thinks the entire City is a support group on its own.

Finally, the mun thinks she might have gotten lost in thought and that maybe she hasn't answered any of your concerns at all.
