So I can't find a bedspread I like for the nursery - there will be a twin bed in there. I don't want a duvet cover, because I know this thing is going to need pretty frequent washings and I can't handle Battle of the Duvet Cover that often! I want a thin bedspread/quilt ( Read more... )

Most of the bindings I've seen are a poly-cotton blend, ribbons are usually some sort of synthetic, and quilting fabrics are usually 100% cotton, so I would make sure to prewash/preshrink everything unless you like the crumply look. I know some people go for that intentionally, but it's not my style.
