I can't even convince my laptop to upgrade to 8.1, let alone 10
I've tried. Lord knows I've tried to upgrade from 8.
Hubby got 10 installed yesterday, after 2 false starts, 1 un-install, and a lot of cursing.
But mine? Gives me a virtual evil eye while it spits "We don't need no stinking 8.1!" and of course, you can't go to 10 without going to 8.1 first.
It's ridiculous. -

So I'm watching MeTV - for those who don't know, it's like, retro TV - and Emergency! is on, which I loved as a teenager. So, Rachel's big end-of-year science project was collecting 50 pictures of insects and identifying them (name, class, genus, etc.), which sure beats the hell out of catching the damned things and pinning them to corkboard, which is what I remember doing - all hail the digital camera, am I right ( Read more... )
