What amused me about the whole thing was, when the teams were decided as to who would play for the national championship, Rachel and I (both die hard OSU fans - but the OTHER OSU, the one in Oklahoma) were talking about it and she asked me if I cared who won between Oregon and Ohio State.

This was right after Oregon had delivered a righteous beatdown of Florida State, a team I can't stand, so I was feeling really warm and fuzzy for Oregon, lol. Still, prior to that game, I'd been like "Oregon who?" so I had told Rachel it didn't really matter to me but it would be nice if Ohio State won because that was Tony DiNozzo's team.

She's a big NCIS fan so she laughed at me, decided that was a good reason to root for Ohio State, and called us both fannish nerds! Which we are. *BG*
