Match-Up Post
This is where writers, artists, and beta-readers find other people to work in teams with. Here's how this works:
✗ This match-up post is open until September 15, 2011. You're free to post ads and find teammates until then.
✗ Keep in mind that a team can have no more than one writer, two artists, and one beta-reader. Less is okay

Verse: Specialverse; set long before the chronology of PokeSpe
Rating: T or less
Human Characters: Samuel O.; Agatha; Kurt; Pryce; Carolina
Main Human Pairings: Samuel/Agatha; Samuel/Carolina; Meowth/Psyduck
Notes: Sorry for the ridiculously long summary. You can pretty much get the main idea from the first paragraph ( ... )

Verse: Games, post-gen IV Kanto. There's a whole bunch of my headcanon in there too.
Rating: 15ish/T
Characters/Pairings: Looker, Lt. Surge, several minor OCs. No pairings.
Notes:Summary: Interpol Agent Looker is good at solving mysteries, so when a high-profile sailor dies in Vermillion City, he’s put on the case. Turns out that it’s harder than it seems to solve a case with an obvious answer... and the Gym Leader who insisted on tagging along isn’t helping things.
Snippet: Out of context because... yay. Looker was beginning to feel like the case was coming to a close. Maybe a resolution wasn’t that close, necessarily, but he felt like even if the mysteries surrounding it hadn’t been resolved, it was getting to the point whether they either would be or wouldn’t be ( ... )

Verse: 5th generation game verse; takes place after a slightly different end to the game.
Rating: T
Characters/Pairings: Touya, N, Cheren, Bianca, Elesa, and Ghetsis. Touya/N is the pairing.
Notes:
Summary: Touya's world falls apart when a fight with N leaves him broken and avoiding confrontation with Team Plasma. In Touya's absence from the world, Team Plasma has succeeded in leaving over half of the trainers in the world Pokemon-less. With aid from Elesa, Touya is forced back into the dark world that he allowed to be created. As he struggles to revive his friendship with Cheren and save N, he must live up to the "hero" that Ghetsis has always dreamed of.
Snippet: I chose a short part to spare people from reading too much, but I feel that it displays the mood well ( ... )

Verse: Story is set 3 years after the end of HGSS, assuming that the events of HGSS took a year. Mostly gameverse, but contain bucket loads of headcanon and major tweaking in order to make both pseudo-GSC and HGSS happen. Geography is Johto-centric.
Rating: PG-13, but that's just to be safe. It's in fact more G than Disney.
Characters/Pairings: Centred around Brendan, Ethan, Silver, some Team Rocket members as well as known Indigo League Champions. Pairings include Brendan/May, Brendan/Steven and few instances of male protagonist/rival and protagonist/childhood friend.
Warnings: Contain Team Rocket, HGSS characters, Hoenn characters, pokemon (duh!), pokemon trainers (well...), pokemon coordinators (gasp!), instances of Lost Silver creepypasta, shipping, nudity, skinwalker/kitsune-bride style beings, shapeshifters, pokemon folklore references from Sinnoh library, real life folklore references, made-up folklore, dancing, magic dances, magic songs/musics, possible religious ( ... )

Verse: 5th generation gameverse, takes place throughout the events of B/W
Rating: T
Characters/Pairings: Mainly White (aka Touko aka Hilda, but I'm calling her White) and N. Mostly N's POV, but some from White. Includes Ghetsis, Anthea and Concordia, Cheren, Alder, etc. But mostly, lots of White/N. Yay Ferriswheelshipping.
Summary: The way I'm structuring it is it will be a collection of scenes, mostly a story version of the interactions they share in the game. I use some direct game quotes, but mostly I change it up. It's like embellished canon. I want to highlight the dramatic moments of N and White's relationship while also showing the process and their characters in a realistic way.
Snippet:They pressed their palms flat against the charged rock. Instantly a physical shock shivered through their bodies - just a tiny one, really, a tickle of electricity, but a jolt nonetheless, making their very bones quiver. White laughed out loud, and, watching her, N couldn’t help but smile too; the power ( ... )
