 Hello, Pokemon comm! So I'm new to this community, yeah.

I, for the first time in my life, caught a shiny Snover earlier today while training my Rapidash for the Elite Four.

So... when was your first shiny encounter?

I have yet to encounter a shiny. Isn't that sad? Then again I've only played Ruby, FireRed, and Platinum.

A yellowheaded Spearow in Crystal, on that little bit of road west of Viridian.
I've yet to find ANY others, though :B

Shiny Gastly in Old Chateau, Pearl. Caught her, named her after where I found her. She's a darling, really~

Shiny Lugia in Crystal.

No, I didn't capture it. The reason why was because I was a moron who poisoned it and wasn't successful in getting it to stay in the ball when it was at 1 HP.

(The first time I successfully captured a shiny was on a Ruby ROM, when I caught a Spinda.)

The only shiny I've ever encountered was a shiny Bellsprout in FireRed. I caught it...but it was on a ROM, so it's not even a legitimate shiny. *cries*
