On this beautiful Easter day

Hello, Pokemon comm! So I'm new to this community, yeah.

I, for the first time in my life, caught a shiny Snover earlier today while training my Rapidash for the Elite Four.

So... when was your first shiny encounter?

shineys, shiny pokemon, game: platinum, shiny, shinies

Aside from red Gyarados? I caught shiny Spoink. Two, in fact - yay for chaining!

Aside from the tons of Pokemon in Platinum that I caught chaining, I'd never encountered an actual 1/8000 shiny until last week, when I found (and miraculously caught) a shiny Hypno in the Safari Zone. Then a couple days ago I found a Caterpie while EV training east of Violet City.

I didn't think it was possible.

My first and only shiny that I ever caught that wasn't the obligatory Red Gyarados or Pikachu-Colored Pichu is a shiny Tauros I met outside of the Safari Zone gate in HeartGold. =3 I named him Mr. Sparkle.

Shiny Pidgey. It was a LONG time ago, and for the longest time I thought I had encountered it in Blue, but recently came to learn Shinies didn't even exist in the first gen. XD So it must have been Gold.

But if I recall correctly, I was playing my brother's game. >___>; My luck. I caught it, after going WTH IS THIS PIDGEY GREEN and then later that day I think he restarted his game. XD goodbye my only shiny.

Shiny Sentret, Lv 3, RIGHT after they gave you the free balls in Crystal.

I named her Peaches and, when I got my Pearl game, had someone recreate her for me.....just in time. My Crystal does not save anymore.

You win the whole thread.

Gen 2 cartridges don't save anymore, due to some battery inside. Even my Gen 3 cartridges don't save anymore. (FFFFFUUUU- ALL I NEEDED WAS TO BEAT THE ELITE FOUR YOU STUPID CARTRIDGE)
