 Hello, Pokemon comm! So I'm new to this community, yeah.

I, for the first time in my life, caught a shiny Snover earlier today while training my Rapidash for the Elite Four.

So... when was your first shiny encounter?

I've had a few shinies including three on Pokemon Platinum; Farfetch'd, Ralts and Starly.

How did you get so lucky to find three? Or did you go looking?

My first was a Ledian in Silver. I remembered I tried to catch it, but it fainted. :( I don't think I knew what "shiny" meant then, though.

Oh, and while playing SoulSilver, I ran past the same patch of grass where I lost it in Silver. That's the only area of Silver I remember, strangely...

The first shiny that I actually caught was a shiny Machoke in Platinum, up by whatever the name of that snowy town is, haha. I luuurve it, haven't trained it or anything though.
