Saw Cloverfield today! And I actually liked it quite a bit. The shaky handheld camera shtick was pretty effective in creating the atmosphere, and of course I am a sucker for Terrible Thing Destroys [insert city here] movies. The Departed is a really good movie~~~ Although I don't feel like spazflailing over it 'cause it's late and my remarks would be repetitive, but... yeah. Suspenseful and thrilling! You never know what's going to happen next! xD

8 Femmes is a... very very special movie. And by 'special' I mean 'really fucked up.' The French have an interesting idea of a murder mystery, one that includes breaking randomly into songs about love. And there are really messed up relationships.
