1. Camille is kind of a weird balance of overconfidence and insecurities at all times. She's the greatest worst actress in the world! (This applies to her love life as well.)

2. She could live completely in the real world if she had to (unlike, say, James, who can't turn it off), but she chooses not to, hence the costumes and explosives and accents and slapping and whatnot. She believes that life should be as dramatic as possible. And when she's playing pretend, she really believes whatever she's playing. (To put this another way: Camille doesn't believe in mermaids, except for about three hours one afternoon ( ... )

1. He really isn't smart. It's not an act. He's just not that bright. He can certainly function in the world, but he's not a thinker.

2. He's also genuinely vain. He is completely aware of how attractive he is and is damn proud of it.

3. He's bi. Again, this isn't something he's really thought about, he's just attracted to any and all pretty things. As a teenager, he mainly dates girls because it's easier, and as an adult his high-profile relationship with Camille (WHICH WILL HAPPEN) will draw attention away from any relationships/encounters with dudes, but he's not really in the closet.

4. He has enormous issues with being someone's second choice, which are mostly embodied in Kendall but also crop up with the whole Logan/Camille thing. He also has issues with people who don't work hard having things handed to them. I may have posted something about these issues of mine James's last night ( ... )
