Haha. I know right! You could see he was slightly flustered in telling the women how beautiful they looked. Loved his expressions when telling Joss she needed to wear something "less conservative".

I really miss the days when the number turned out to be the perp. Feels like we haven't had one of those since Root was pretending to be Turing.

Look at this season so far... a sailor helping his friend, a jackass Internet info guy and now a playboy who basically stalks women but he has a son so ok, let's help him out.

Maybe I'm just in a mood but I'm sick of all this goody-goody stuff.

And if Reese doesn't get to do more ass-kicking than simply bitchslapping some jerk, I just may lose it completely.

That really, really bugged me! It felt like they totally normalized and excused his behavior as if he weren't a straight-up stalker.

Not enough Reese and Finch interaction. And for some reason, I felt so much less intensity with this episode. So far, season 3 hasn't done that well and it makes me sad.

Yeah, I agree. That's been bugging me too. There's been a lack of interaction between them, and the eps, to me, have just been so-so. There's been a lack of drama and good storytelling, IMHO anyway, compared to seasons 1-2. I also think that saying that creepy stalker's behavior was okay because he had a son was just wrong. Big time. And the implication that Carter might actually date him in future? Yechh.

Seems to be the general consensus.

I liked the episode but more for the personal revelations than anything else. I loved parts of the episode but overall I'd probably give it a 7.5/100 (which is about as low as I go for PoI - I’m sure there’s a 7/10 or two somewhere if I could be bothered to remember all the episodes atm ( ... )

Outside the number the interactions between regular characters was more interesting. Zoe and John appear to be a ‘thing’. They implied it right off the bat w/ Zoe greeting Shaw with “I heard you ....” - hmmmm, so John tells her things about his work. And then the adorable pink stun gun - a personal weapon is a great way for him to show concern, lol. Of course, the teasing from Shaw just seemed to cement it and Reese walking her home reinforced the regularity of it. A blatant statement in the PoI world of misdirection and obfuscation. Of course, if a romance has to happen on PoI this is the way that I want it to be: subtle, normal and reference occasionally like it’s no big deal but rarely highlighted ( ... )
