So *pnish* decided to release a more-detailed summary of the show's plot (actually...more like PRE-plot, giving a little more backstory) on the official rehearsal blog! Translation powers, GOOOOOOO!

There is a tale that has been passed down in this country since ancient times, a legend centered around Kapilavastu Castle, which towers over the ( Read more... )

Man, we are already down to six days before the show begins? Doesn't seem possible, does it? And then, just another 15 before it's all over, right? Just... it's a little sad thinking about it.

Thanks for the translation!

The plot sounds quite interesting!

I agree with innusiq, it is sad that's it's almost over.

Thanks for the translation! I got a question! Who writes the pnish shows? Do they find people to write for them, or do they take older less know plays?

Your guess is as good as mine! As far as I know, they're original (and possibly if I checked out the back of the DVDs or credits, it might say--the scriptwriter's name will be beside "脚本" (kyakuhon, "script")) but it's long bugged me, too!

There was the theory a while back that Daiki might've written some of them, but judging from how much he was bitching and moaning while penning his own Ayakashi this past January, I think he probably hasn't had much experience with it before XD;

I have no clue how the whole "hiring a scriptwriter" thing goes, but it is interesting definitely! Probably the reason plays like Treasure Box and Wonder Box felt so different, despite having the same cast, was because they were written by different people.
