Integral wasn't actually expecting anyone. She pulled herself up from the bed, peering quizzically at the door as if it would present her with some answer. It wasn't as if Integral was doing anything of great import. The book she'd been reading lay discarded beside her. A hand smoothed her hair and she adjusted her glasses before getting to her feet.

It wasn't like she knew anyone here that would pay a call. She couldn't image Sasan or Palpatine knocking at her door without an invitation. Now that Alucard was gone, she doubted Palpatine would be visiting again. Ms. Parker, Dr. Muraki, anyone one else she'd casually spoken with weren't known well enough to warrant an impromptu visit to her cabin. Perhaps it was someone acquainted with her new room mate.

Integral padded toward the door, pulling it open to greet the unfamiliar guest. There was no smile, no feigned interest or pleasure in seeing the boy at her door. Blue eyes stared at him with her usual intensity. "May I help you?" queried she at length.

It was easier when people didn't fake pleasantries just for the sake of it, even refreshing in what had to be a completely bizarre way. She didn't care for company, he didn't care to be there, and that was completely fine. He met her eyes levelly, his own expression not giving away the fact that he was actually secretly quite a mess.

"You said if I had any insight about what happened," he responded evenly but didn't quite finish that thought out loud; he had no desire to discuss this in the hallway. At least in these circumstances, he was fairly sure she wasn't about to manhandle him like the last person he'd approached about Muraki. Then again, with that anger she'd displayed after what had happened... even Tsuzuki had been spooked by it, and he couldn't sense things like that.

A brow lofted at the boy's words. Without hesitation, Integral stepped back away from the door in silent invitation. The door was closed and locked once he was inside. The woman gestured to a chair for her guest as she picked up the wide-brimmed red hat and put it over the camera, just in case.

She crossed back to the bed, taking a seat on its edge. Those blue eyes peered at Hisoka with intense anticipation. "What is that thing that's following you?" she inquired. Her voice was hard, full of sharp edges. Yet another remnant of her life before the end of the world, that commanding air.

The blond stepped inside at the silent invitation, waiting until Integral moved towards her bed before he took a place at an unadorned wall and leaned against it. Slowly, very slowly, he tried to keep his mind focused on the present even as his consciousness searched for a presence that was not this woman's. It would be hard, doing this unobtrusively.

Strong emotions always lingered, he'd learned that too well in his life, but sorting through them was always the part he had trouble with.

"My partner's pet," Hisoka answered almost-truthfully in a voice a little more flat than the seemingly innocuous question allowed for. The messenger in question winged its way over to the red hat, perching upon it. He cast his eyes over over to the covered camera, tilting his head towards it and asking softly, "Do you make a habit of that?"

A single brow lifted, just barely above the rim of her glasses. As far as she was aware, pets weren't allowed. Integral eyed the bird for a moment before her attention turned to the boy. He sounded almost annoyed.

The strongest emotions Hisoka would most likely sense were sadness, loneliness, and confusion. In all honesty, Integral felt like she'd lost her path. With the world's end, she lost her country, her queen, the very faith she'd served. Just before arriving on Pluto, she'd lost Alucard. Finding him here was a joy even she hadn't anticipated. And once more he was gone. It left a lingering and resounding sense of loss.

She flicked her eyes to the hat over the camera and then back to the boy. "I don't enjoy being spied upon," she mused. The blonde woman lowered her head slightly, the gesture so subtle it may have gone without notice. "Alucard has no use of that hat anymore. I may as well make some use of it."
