DATE: Day 60, morning
CHARACTER(S): Hisoka/thosecoldeyes, Integral/ms_hellsing
STATUS: Complete
SUMMARY: Integral and Hisoka talk; Hisoka just hopes she doesn't ask about the damn bird.
LOCATION: Cabin 105

At some point, this was probably going to catch up to him, Hisoka had already decided in the past few days. Investigating Muraki on his own, acting on his own at all, and explaining his actions to neither of his coworkers was not necessarily the most clever thing to do. Tsuzuki thought he just needed time alone, and Watari was completely unaware as near as he could tell. Nonetheless, during the church services when he had more time to himself, he found himself in front of Cabin 105.

He needed to find some indication to whether it was Muraki or not. Letting her live, that part made no sense, but the fact that her hair had been cut short was practically a signature. Some inkling of the man's presence, even after days, that would be enough to know he wasn't actually being paranoid. As it was, he was starting to have his doubts.

Hisoka really wasn't sure what to make of the fact that his partner had decided to have him followed around by one of his messenger birds, but he wasn't going to get into it over that sort of thing. He was aware enough of the fact that his already short temper was fraying badly, that he'd been snapping far too much, and Tsuzuki had been taking him to heart lately. It was better to just ignore it.

And it was strangely reassuring in a way he'd rather not elaborate.

However, explaining the small bird to the woman whose door he was knocking on was just one of those things he'd rather not consider too much.
