Well, it's been a month. I wasn't gonna do a catchup entry (to tell the truth I likely wasn't gonna do an entry at all - I've been feeling a bit antisocial recently, hence the lack of update & the lack of actual interaction on the talkers) but J sat & looked all wide-eyed & said he'd like to read an entry from me. So here we are ;)

I was going to comment about this on J's journal, but never got round to it! That local meeting sounded like it was frustrating, and reminds me of the 6 years I spent here as the secretary of a leasehold estate management company (in my spare time), which sometimes was rewarding, but at other times was horrible. At the final AGM I went to, it all descended into who could shout the loudest and who could insult the most other people present, which makes me so pleased to have laid it to rest now. It was draining all my energy :)

Yeah I don't think I could do that sort of thing - as we were only there to be informed & ask our one question I could get away with covering my eyes & shaking my head at various points. But if I was supposed to be playing more of an active part in the meeting then I'd've lost my temper several times over. I felt very sorry for the guy from the council who was doing the information side of the presentation.
