Expecting him, Garak wasted no time stepping out into the hallway and locking his door behind him. He arched an eye ridge slightly at the bizarre clothing but said nothing about it. If the doctor wanted to fit in more with the other humans he had seen in this place, he could hardly fault him for it. He walked back over to the lift to press the call button. "Don't be surprised if you don't get any sort of reading," he said. "The Doctor said the ship was completely dormant."

ooc: Dean'll be waiting for you guys!

Dean pushed himself away from his computer and started grabbing up anything he was going to need to check out the box the doctors seemed to be so fond of. The EMF, camera, flashlight, and sawed off shot gun. He was just out the door when the hunter doubled back and picked up a ziplock bag with a screwdriver inside.

He ducked out and started to make his way down to the garage.

"Hello, Garak."

He watched Garak's reaction to the clothes he had found in the attic with Kate and found it amusing. Julian didn't really like the clothes too much himself, but it did give him another set until Garak could make him something much more comfortable and to his tastes. The denim was stiff and he had to wear a belt to keep them from falling off his hips.

He motioned for Garak to lead the way with a small wave of his hand. His friend had been to the garage several times before, but he himself had not.

Julian nodded. "But maybe there will be residual life signs lingering near the ship or some chemicals that might clue us in on what happened to him. When you were down there working with him, what were you helping him with exactly?"

"With the way things seem to go here, don't count on it," Garak said. "Whoever designed this prison doesn't like to give up answers much."

He stepped into the lift and pressed the button for the garage. "He wanted to expand it as a living space. Even though it was dormant, it was still his home. I was helping with that."

Julian followed Garak into the lift and stood with his back to the side wall, resting his arms on the railing behind his back.

"No, the hotel doesn't like to divulge it's secrets at all." Trying to remain positive, Julian focused on Garak's explanation of what he had been doing to help The Doctor in the garage rather than on the futility of the task ahead.

It wouldn't hurt anything to have a look and give the area a good scan. Besides, he had nothing but time on his hands and keeping busy kept his mind active.

"So, he didn't have a room other than his place in the garage?"

"Rose Tyler," she said with a nod, properly introducing herself. "And I..." She took a deep breath, looking at the others who weren't paying much attention to the two of them. "I would appreciate the company," she admitted with a small smile. "Thank you, Garak."

"I'd say lead the way, but with the way this place works, either of us has an equal chance of finding what we're looking for," Garak said with a bright smile. He could tell this was difficult for her. He decided to make himself as pleasant of company as he could to compensate. "So we'll just walk together, and you can tell me more about yourself." He gave a general wave toward Bashir and Dean over his shoulder and started strolling toward the lift at a leisurely pace. "I could tell you more about myself, except I fear you might find it dreadfully dull. I'm just a tailor, you see, one who occasionally dabbles in gardening. Do you like to garden?"

Dean watched Julian scan the debris for a moment before noticing Garak and Rose leaving. Rose knew the Ninth doctor. She also knew how one of these police boxes worked.

"Hey, wait a second!" The hunter scrambled to grab his stuff, since it was apparent that nothing here was really going to go anywhere but them. "Jude, come on! We're going to the attic. Stuff here isn't nearly as useful at that will all be." He grabbed up his bag, shouldering it and careful not to drop his camera and jogged after Rose and Garak.

Dean made a mental note that when they were done looking over all the evidence of the Doctor's disappearance, he was going to corner Julian at the earliest convenience and see if he wanted to help him out with an open case. He caught up to Rose and Garak as they reached the lift, casting a glance over his shoulder to Julian to urge his tall skinny ass along, and listened intently to what Rose had to say.

"Coming!" Running to catch up to the trio, Julian bounded over. "Rose, forgive me for my rudeness, but I wanted to scan the vicinity of the TARDIS in case it might shed some light on The Doctor's disappearance." He looked at all three of them standing there, his expression one of disbelief.

"I'm not sure what to make of this DNA trace I was able to find. Whoever this DNA is from, is not human. Not only that, but this person's DNA carries the DNA of eight other beings! Rose? Can you help me make sense of this?"
