Wow, it feels good to be on break. Well, actually it doesn't because I foolishly agreed to work at least one of my 3 jobs every day until New Year's Day (which really sucks because I was resolved to be off New Year's Eve--I only work until 3:00, at least). My suckermouths finally came home. I have been so excited that I can't stop looking at them. They are the greatest fish in the world. Now I just have to decide what else to put in the tank...

Seascape hired me! I am really excited about it (perhaps not so excited about being an official Carnegie employee again, though). Usually I will only work about 10 hrs. a week (ontop of my 40 at the B.C.), which is totally do-able. My dad and I made a concerted effort to get the 55 gallon running today, only to find (halfway full of water) that there is a tiny leak in the bottom corner. Sucks. So we had to dismantle everything and tomorrow we will try to seal it--well, he will try to seal it because being an unfrugal leo, I was all about just buying a new one. So I received these wonderful pet rocks from Bob at Seascape. He gave me a 45 gallon complete with all the live rocks and sand set up, so now I have a saltwater tank quite quickly and unexpectedly. This is the first day that I have actually felt well since my last post. Last week and this week so far (ontop of dying) have been frenetic, to say the least. I am done with finals, and I got an A in my Chem class and hopefully also in lab, but I won't know about lab until it comes in the mail. On the upside, I am feeling so much better although my eyes are watering a lot and making me look like I am crying. On the downside, there is drama. I am waiting in suspense to see how it goes. I wish Ian were here so much! Why did I bother to write this? It is so cryptic.
