Finally getting a day off here and there to catch up with life (although not quite the break I was hoping for, since my volunteer coordinator resigned so taking over a lot of her duties and starting the hiring process all over again, hurrrg). I love the caterpillars too - they look so much more solid and less hairy than the ones we get over here.

The administrative shenanigans just keep coming, alas, and my cope is starting to fail. I am...seriously considering looking for a new job :(
Baby opossums and baby squirrels look wildly different to me (prehensile tail! Opposable thumbs! Mouths sealed up along the sides!) but if it's your first encounter with pinkie wildlife babies, confusion entirely understandable! I usually end up with at least one or two "opossums" that are actually squirrels every year.
Roddypole is the one tail-diving off the lily pad on the lower left :P
It's been a real life-saver for Toast - he dearly wants to go outside, and I used to have to watch every second to keep him from darting out the doors and threaten him with squirt guns, but now as long as he gets a bit of recess in the catpen, he's perfectly content ^_^
