Finally getting a day off here and there to catch up with life (although not quite the break I was hoping for, since my volunteer coordinator resigned so taking over a lot of her duties and starting the hiring process all over again, hurrrg). Things accomplished: kitchen cleaned, carpet shampooed, laundry, grocery, and outside opossums cleaned out

Hatching turtles! EECK! So pretty! Poor mama - but one baby survived.

Monarch caterpillars. Wow.

Squirrel in opossum pen. Haha.
He (she?) needs a buddy - and those baby possums are the right size and age!
(Yeah, mixing species, not good idea, unless individuals agree they don't mind - and those possums aren't fighting the intruder)

Bones and Toast are still the main cuddlers of The Brick, so yep, I think Gan's had to find his own One True Block XD

Little turtle came all the way out and I'm working on setting him up in an aquarium. HE'S SO TEENY AND ADORABLE OMG!

My brother called last night with a slightly older baby squirrel that had fallen out of the nest in his yard and wasn't getting rescued by mom, so now squirrel has a big brother^^

Congratulations on saving the turtle eggs, it must have been wonderful to see the little one hatching. I hope the other four will hatch too.

What happened to the poor mom was so sad, so I was definitely psyched to see that little turtle hatching! Other four eggs still look good, so it's just wait for more action right now :)
