The other day at Target I snagged the last of the cute-but-probably-overpriced waterproof gardening boots. I think I've already gotten my money's worth, as my curiousity has led me to the nearby creek (which has been crossed numerous times to get to the community garden). Apparently I am also interested in talking about mass transit, specifically our local stuff here, and I am currently FLOORED by people vehemently complaining about how the escalators are out at the MARTA stations. Sweet pea perennial seeds are soaking in water! First seeds of the season! And last night we put the ubercheap bulb flowers from Krogers into containers on the front steps. I live with my husband, our 3 cats, and 61 pots of plants in 460 sq ft of space. This explains a lot of things around here.

I JUST SAW A SNOWFLAKE!!!!!! Soon, the roads will be absolutely covered in ice, and all the Northern tranplants (which is most of here, anyway), will get out on the big roads in their big SUVs and have lots of big wrecks because they don't understand - it's not that Southerners* are necessarily scared of snow.
