The "bake dinner" part confuses me. Whenever Barbara does some heavy work, I either make dinner, get take-out, or take her out. It's a fair division of labor.
Ah. Ray doesn't cook, except in a truly rudimentary sort of way. Also the money is tight around here. However, he just started some microwave popcorn at my request, plus did a load of laundry, including my workpants before I even asked him to.
We've had plenty of dialogs about fair division of labor. We've also had Wendy's one night which he supplied and paid for. Sammidges at least one night, which we each could make for ourselves. One meal of frozen ravioli with frozen meatballs, another of make-your-own-personal-pizzas augmented with fresh baby spinach. I've compromised my standards of what I'll serve and eat, in the interest of making things easier on myself.
