I'm getting there. The funny thing is, as broken as my body feels, my spirits are in great shape. Ah, of course, that's because I'm home. Currently sitting on the sofa as the sun pours in and Zoey and I are playing fetch with a little wad of paper. :D
Thank you. I feel better today than I did yesterday, but I still called in again because whatever ground I gained yesterday I would lose today, plus more, undoubtedly. I find Indian cooking much harder to master than any other culinary genre. No matter how I try, nothing comes out like it looks in the pictures, and certainly nothing like it is in restaurants. I'm learning to be happy with how it is, rather than how I think it ought to be. The biryani, by the way, looks, smells, and tastes divine. A bit soupy, but that will resolve once I rebake it.
