So I took the library option (thanks for all the suggestions!), as I had to return "Otherness" (David Brin, readable, not as sensawunda as I'd hope, possibly a little dated).  Then I went to the Main Library to see if they had a copy of Jorgensen.  They didn't, but I browsed around where he would've been and came back with six books on various

I have 2nd Ed Jorgensen, but I guess that's no help to you. Also just ordered a copy of Brian Williams' recently completed Hydrobiological Modelling book (darn it - he had it online for free until he finished it - but it's a good book).
