Walked
So I took the library option (thanks for all the suggestions!), as I had to return "Otherness" (David Brin, readable, not as sensawunda as I'd hope, possibly a little dated). Then I went to the Main Library to see if they had a copy of Jorgensen. They didn't, but I browsed around where he would've been and came back with six books on various things related to Main Project :-P
I then discovered the multimedia section of the library has a DVD section hidden behind the wall of microfiche machines! Looks like most of them aren't for loan (*frowns*) but that still leaves a fair selection.
It's quite glorious out there today - possibly even shorts weather at the moment, but I don't think the mornings and evenings would make that choice quite sensible.
