Hi comm

I need your help badly please! I'm in a bad situation, as something unexpected happened with a plushie I sold.

If you remember, recently I held the plush auction on which kingwillko won the swampert. Today kingwillko contacted me with suspicions that swampert could be bootlegged because its hang tag and the tush tag don't match

On the back of the paper, does it say anywhere on the tag: "POKEDOLL Swampert"? I'm looking at my American magikarp and he his paper tag says "POKEDOLL Magikarp"? His tush tag is american too, says "Pokemon USA" - Although I got Magikarp in 2006 (which is after your Swampert so maybe they changed how they labeled their dolls). I know for sure my Magikarp is legit since I ordered him back when the Pokemon Center was still in New York (before it became the Nintendo World Center).

The tush tag looks legit, do you have a photo of the back of the hang tag? :)

Thank you <3

I have never seen a hang tag without a printed barcode, but the shadow on the logo on the fromm of the tag and the Nintendo World sticker are good indicators that it's probably legit ^_^

Is tha quality of the plush/stitching good? :)

It's a bit strange to see an American hang tag on a Japanese tush tag - I haven't seen that before either :S

Well it has the Barcode sticker from the Nintendo World Store, I bought some Pokedolls there 3 years ago, and the tags are like that, so in my opinion it's not a bootie. Besides when speaking of booties, you can see a notable downgrade on the plush overrall, and this Swampert looks pretty legit to me.

I have a Swampert Pokedoll that I bought from pokemoncenter.com back in 2004/2005. The tush tag looks exactly the same. Not sure on the hang tag, since I cut the hang tag off of mine years ago, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I looked up the nintendo world on wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_World_Store

Says the store opened in May 14, 2005. I don't think if a pokedoll was released in 2004, by 2005 they probably would still sell it
