Unsolicited thoughts on the latest rendition of Greek myth, film literally at six
I got my brother this book for Christmas, which it turned out was a lucky bit of timing. Then the other day I cringed away from an unexpected spoiler on TV, and we decided I’d better read the blasted book before the marketing spoilered everything.

Three things I’ve learned recently:
- Birthday cakes are surprisingly easy to make at home.
- For all the wonders of modern civilisation, we still don’t have wireless broadband that can maintain a reliable signal ten feet from the source.
- I really like vaccinations. They make me feel all macho hyper. No, I don’t know why. -

Seems like no sooner have I finished writing one biggish fic than the next one pops up. Actually, this one’s been coming on for a long while, but it’s only starting to show wordcount now.

Curious thing about research into online psychology - the writers go on at length about how people are anonymous online and the myriad effects of this - deindividuation, more self-disclosure - and can then go straight on to note that, for example, people can form attachments to others’ online personas and reconstruct their own identities.

Spoileriffic Thoughts on Revenge of the Fallen (Part Two)
I did say there were some things I liked about the film. And since I wrote this down well before my memory of the film faded, it's as accurate as it's going to get without a second viewing. (And frankly I'd much prefer to see District 9 again - not sarcastic, I'd just rather put the money thataway).
