You know you've been playing Halo Wars too long when you start dreaming it. I've done some crazy stuff in my sleep but being inside an RTS is a new one on me. And the rendering was terrible.
Summoning buildings by hand was pretty neat, though. -

Because reading fics on the Pit gives me the rage-induced urge to write canon female bots dealing with things other than their own gender. Plus some arrogance and recklessness that actually acts as a bad thing.

Last week I got to present research at the National Psychology Students Congress. Asexuality and identity in a social context.
Yep, still gleeful about that. -

First things first: waking up to find half the planet celebrating around me - best start to the day ever. Every once in a while I wake up to some bit of news that makes me think I can feel the world change for the better around me. Very, very rarely, I think I'm not the only one.

So, one week, and I’m home and free (literally) for Christmas. This has some bonuses (free food, good company, time to plot, read, write and blow things up via Xbox, w00t!). The downside is that it’s near-certain hiatus from the internet until oh, early January. That puts something of a dampener on it. But who knows. The break might do me good.
