Tailoring

khyron posted a question similar to what I'm asking so I think I have good ideas already, but where in Oakland/Squill would I find a good but not overly expensive dry-cleaner/tailor? I am looking for a shop to slightly shorten straps on a dress and no more than that. I think that tailoring should cost between $30-40 (cheaper would be wonderful).

I am a local seamstress, and would be happy to help you with your tailoring needs! Fitting the straps on a dress would cost $10, and I can do pickup and delivery within the greater pittsburgh area. You can email me at: kethry@hotmail.com

Are you able to alter a suit jacket? The wait is too large for me. Plus I need the pants hemmed. If so, I would to use your services :) Delivery sounds awesome.

Maybe someone else can provide more details, but I've been going all my life to Albert. He's on Murray Ave, in Squirrel Hill, across from the bread bakery, about half way down the hill? I forget the name of the store he actually has, but he's fantastic. His prices are decent and the quality you get from him is well worth it.

Alberto and Pasquale?
If so, I also recommend him. He altered a dress of mine and it turned out beautiful!

Irene's Tailoring on murray (near the forbes intersection) is amazing and not too bad with price either. She reminds me of my grandma too...
