Tailoring

khyron posted a question similar to what I'm asking so I think I have good ideas already, but where in Oakland/Squill would I find a good but not overly expensive dry-cleaner/tailor? I am looking for a shop to slightly shorten straps on a dress and no more than that. I think that tailoring should cost between $30-40 (cheaper would be wonderful).

Do any of the tailors mentioned upthread work with leather? I found an amazing vintage metallic leather shirt, but the neckline is a little too tight for my liking. The leather is just about as thin as it gets, but I haven't yet found a tailor who I'm confident can handle it.

Roberta Weissburg in Shadyside does amazing things with leather. She repaired a coat for us that we thought was not salvageable.
