I know somebody asked this about Greenfield recently, but I know that Wilkinsburg now has different trash pick-up, too, only as you can see the website doesn't have the new days yet. Does anybody know where else I can look for the new trash collection days, short of calling city hall (which is really annoying to do)? I don't want to leave my trash

Oh, wait, do I need a 412 number to call that from? I currently have no landline due to circumstances I'm sure you're aware of, so all I have is my 908-area code cell phone. Although I suppose I could call from work as I'm closing up the store tomorrow...

"311" is the new "non-emergency services" response line. I don't know that it can be called from a cell phone at all - though I haven't tried. It is only available from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday.

Our trash collection day (in Beechview) also changed. We did receive a notification in the mail from the City.

I'm honestly not being a smartass by saying this, it's the way *I* remember when it's trash day.....

wait and see what day all your neighbors put it out!

Or, to avoid a ticket or stray animals, be very sneaky and leave it in front of a neighbors house! joking, joking!

I believe you're not being a smartass, and it's a great suggestion, but... I don't think any of my neighbours know when the new trash day is, either. :D

I like the putting it in front of my neighbour's house idea. There are some really annoying people just up the road from me...

I live in the Regent Sq end of Wilkinsburg and our trash day used to be Tuesday, but is now Friday. I'm not sure if that helps or not, but that's what I know.

Sweet! I'm in the same area as you are (right near the Kelly School) and mine used to be Tuesday, so I bet I'm now Friday as well.

Do you define it as being Friday is the night you put your trash out, though, or Friday is the morning they put it all out and I should leave my stuff out on Thursday?

my section of SqHill was split between Thurs morning (on shady) and Tues (side streets

now both are Friday mornings I have a big note on our fridge
