So the commissioned costume pieces are done and picked up, and aside from him being thrilled with stuff I thought was complete junk, I'm pretty satisfied.

Unfortunately, I didn't get scans, and they were wet when they left (on time!!) just now.

Contemplating opening a blogger account for the fine arts stuff. I know once school starts up I'm going to want to keep track of it in an orderly manner, and LJ tends to be the dumping ground for my random thought of the day. I received some pretty good compliments while hanging things up at the coffee shop.
One of which was "Paint bigger!!" and I'm taking that with a little grain of salt- he was an old man and probably didn't like getting eye strain.  Plus, I don't have the room to paint bigger, I've created such a pile of mess in my studio that doing an 11x14 painting ( Read more... )

I'm very excited to be hanging this up tomorrow. The frames were ungodly cheap for most of them and nothing is priced for more than $60, with most at $45. Considering the venue (very yuppie) I think I might sell out.
I can hope, anyway.
