Contemplating opening a blogger account for the fine arts stuff. I know once school starts up I'm going to want to keep track of it in an orderly manner, and LJ tends to be the dumping ground for my random thought of the day. some of those paintings linked to the site looked really neat. how would you find out if the places you're considering are tax write-offs or do their shows in a chicken coop?

That judge has SFMOMA after her name. That struck me as kinda cool.

Some of the artists in the association seem really nice and compitent. Which is more than what I'd expect from such a yuppie community. But oddly the president of it lives in Morgan Hill.

I've been to the Los Gatos Museum, which is an old firehouse they use to run events and to show paintings. It's theirs year-round.

Yeah, that SFMOMA thing kind of cinched it for me. Bye bye, $30.
