It occurs to me that the hemp twine just isn't working for me. It's too stiff and my thumbs are all raw from working with it. So the cat now has lots of fringy hemp cat toys and I have a big old ball of jute twine that I picked up at the craft store this morning. Where did you find that craft hair? I'd love to find some red-red* fake hair that I could use as part of a helmet-crest for my Roman soldier costume. I bought some red-brown horse hair and tried to dye it red-red, but it just turned a somewhat redder shade of red-brown. Buying something of the right color would save the hassle of trying to figure out how to dye the horse hair red-red.

* I don't want red like human red hair. I want red like a stop sign.

It is available online, but I'll be damned if I can find a supplier. Synth hair with the bright colors is really popular with the goth and the rave crowd. I'm just having brain drain.
