It's like a scalp in a bag! Yay!
It occurs to me that the hemp twine just isn't working for me. It's too stiff and my thumbs are all raw from working with it. So the cat now has lots of fringy hemp cat toys and I have a big old ball of jute twine that I picked up at the craft store this morning. I stopped by the beauty supply place to pick up the loose hair for my hair fringe and ZOMG, that place is like jackpot! This area has gotten way more culturally diverse in the last four years (that's how long it's been since I went shopping for costume hair) and now they have tons of hair extension supplies. I mean tons. I won't have to do any of the bedlah hair by hand; they have some totally awesome three-foot hair fringe in a range of colors for $7. They even have gray hair! I want to say it's about two feet of fringe per packet. It's totally like a scalp in a bag! Scalp-in-a-bag FTW!
