Red Sox lost today by the score of 6-5. I figured today would be chalked as an L but it still kind of sucks. They have to win tomorrow though. Get a split in Chicago and then head home for some home cooking. Clay isn't looking good, that's for sure. I think he may need to be demoted and get some more AAA work in. I really thought we had a chance to make today a W, so now am a bit disappointed. Not our day, I guess, especially Clay and Mikey. Doesn't help that the Pale Stockings had some impressive slugging on their side. I agree, Clay needs a little bit of AAA time. And I also agree about the playoffs. My heart wants us to go all the way, but my brain and my gut say that it will be otherwise, unfortunately.

That's how I'm feeling with this team. My heart says "GO ALL THE WAYYYY YOU CAN DO EET" and my brain says "You're just not good enough. A twinge of the WS hangover mixed in with some hard luck and increased competition is gonna make for a tough road which means likely an early exit. Also let's not also forget how badly they suck at domes" and then my gut says "Mehh they don't got it this year"

HOwever the complexion could change in due time...you never know.

These 1-run losses are really starting to piss me off. I think Clay needs to go back down to Pawtucket, and get a few things sorted out. he seems to just lose it once somebody gets on base, or he gives up a home run.

I would love to see Zink get a chance to pitch in the majors, but it looks like it will be Hansack.

Whichever way it goes, I wish to see Zink up with teh club at some point this season if possible.

I agree that Clay needs to sort some things down in Pawtuckett (But that could just be me wanting to see him there on Wednesday when I go.). He's just not Clay right now, he's a nervous wreck.

And Isaac Hayes died? A wha? How did that happen? :(

I guess a heart attack or something with Hayes. I'm kinda bummed out. He was awesome. Even if he was into the whole Scientology thing these days.

Got it. I also added los angeles dodgers to it because Lowe was on the Dodgers at that time.
