Hey all. Don't worry picspam off All Star goodness will be up soon. However thanks to Out in Centerfield linking me to an interview with Lugo, I have to at least give this one out. Heh. I saw a guy yesterday wearing a Lugo T-shirt. I mean, seriously, I didn't even know they made a Lugo T-shirt.

After I finished laughing to myself about it, I said, "wow I have to tell Piney about this."

I can go that guy one better. I have TWO Lugo shirts, one in red, one in navy. I even wear them to work on casual Fridays...of course, being about a thousand miles from Boston, no one gives me any flack. Oddly enough, there are several Sox fans where I work (large medical practice). I've sometimes wondered if any of them thought I was strange for liking Lugo. THEN...a couple of Fridays ago our clinical director, who is one of said Sox fans, called me Julio! It didn't register until a few minutes later WHY he did so...I had totally forgotten which Sox shirt I was wearing.

And mom still hasn't gotten her Lugo shirt yet. She feels guilty because she decided not to buy one yet the day he got hurt.

Maybe. Although I think I did it by wearing my Lowrie shirt that day. I love me some Jed, but poor Lugo. It sounds absolutely horrible.

I'm mostly audio only because of living so far away, and that game was one time where I was very glad to be so deprived. When the WRKO announcers said that he had screamed as he went down, my heart just sank. :(
