Red Sox beat the Tigers by the score of 5-1. Beckett was fantastic as per usual and even recorded his 1000th career strikeout. So that's pretty sweetness. Youkilis hit a HR, adding onto his torture resume against the Tigers. The bullpen didn't fuck things up(hooray!) and Delcarmen even had a clean inning! That's huge for him. Yep no more Tigers. They were talking about how Detroit after this week will be done with both NY and Boston for the series on the MLB.TV feed.
