Red Sox beat the Tigers by the score of 5-1. Beckett was fantastic as per usual and even recorded his 1000th career strikeout. So that's pretty sweetness. Youkilis hit a HR, adding onto his torture resume against the Tigers. The bullpen didn't fuck things up(hooray!) and Delcarmen even had a clean inning! That's huge for him. Hey all. Red Sox won tonight by the score of 12-4. Beckett looked good, but he wasn't particularly great. He had a bit of trouble with the homerun ball. Tek had 1 hit but 3 RBIs, Ortiz and Pedroia both went 3-5, Manny went 2-4 and had a great outfield assist gunning down Carlos Pena at the plate. Youk walked 3 times. Six AM Shenanigans: I missed the game too, folks, but the Red Sox beat the Giants 9-2. Wakefield looked very good, Jed Lowrie(whose now wearing the number 12(change your scorecard folks)) homered, but the big story was more of JD Drew.
