Anyways, sounds like a great workout, although we'd have likely done 8 x 400 in the regular season..Where are ya'll at in the season? Our state meet is saturday.
You were pretty consistent in the times, that's good. But haul butt in those speed work outs because they are SO helpful! It really hurts, trust me, I know, but when you get your recovery time or even the recovery after practice is over and you go home, once the race rolls around you'll be so much better off.
Do ya'll run any 5K's or is it all 2-mile races in your area? Sounds like ya'll have a good sized team too.

Yeah, I remember something about your coach, some of these people are just insane!
I agree with the changing mood towards running, some days when I'm really tired I dread it. But now that I am officially done today and I'm a senior, I look back and realize how much fun it was and how much I'm really going to miss it.
I'm in South Carolina. We're in 3A which is something like 800-1200 students. It's odd to me, because I believe we have 1193 at school right now, I don't think we'd go to 4A, so maybe I'm off on the exact count.
25-30 is about the size of our boys and girls team...haha, we had a lot quit this year. I cannot take quitters. Haha..
