I keep getting bad waves of anxiety with thoughts of imminent job loss. There isn't a real reason to think that is the case, but anxiety isn't a rational affliction. It's been about a month since I last posted. I realized last year the WeHo Halloween Carnaval returned, though the city said they didn't want to bring it back after COVID. We had a high school program at the hospital this past week and I was on a careers panel. I saw that I last updated the day I attended Pride, so I never mentioned what happened the next day. When I went to the shelter to see that dog, the volunteers mentioned another who had been there nearly as long. I ended up going back to see her the next day. Five days later, I adopted her.
