Sorry for the long silence - I'm not on Livejournal nearly as often as I used to be, and with the pandemic going on I've been sticking fairly close to home since I'm in high-risk categories. But I do have a very nice horse statue nearby in Kensington Gardens and have taken dozens of pictures of it - it's one of my go-to sites for testing camera

For some reason he reminds me of Alexander The Great. I have no idea why.
With that texture on the surface I would have instinctively have dated it later. I can see why it is a good subject for testing new lenses.
