As for Bleach, the filler arc has been dragging a little, even with the plot twist. The last episode was TOTAL fanservice. I guess it was nice to see, even if kind of boring and MST-worthy, especially since Hitsugaya bitch-slaps Soifon! That was awesome! -

The big question in my previous post was answered in this episode. w00t!
Muramasa, the new baddie who made such a grand entrance at the start of the arc, now looks pretty weak. I'm sorry, Muramasa, I know Ichigo is interesting, but he's not that freaking interesting... Sheesh. It's like "player knowledge" only with anime.

Bleach Episodes 232 - 235
Sode no Shirayuki got the spotlight first, in the first "big fight" of the new filler arc. Episode 232 prominently featured Rukia, her Zanpakutou, and Ichigo. Again, with the misplaced music, recycled from movies and the wonderful animation, I still felt like there was something missing from this episode. Episode 231
Well... now the second episode of this new filler brings a better understanding of how they're handling this arc. They are actually doing really good artwork for this arc. Rawr!!! EPISODE 230!!! THAT'S WHAT!
Gyah!!!!!!!!! I was fine with the filler one-shot episodes Bleach has been doing since they interrupted the middle of the all important fucking battle with Aizen!!! Grr... They were based off omake and previous chapters that hadn't been animated yet, so it wasn't even like watching filler, b/c they did have it in the manga. Well, that's changed. ( Read more... ) -
New Bleach "Filler"
I'm very pleased to say that the so-called "filler" that Bleach has now decided to divert its storyline to, is actually not filler at all! It's basically fluffed up materials taken from special released chapters and omake! I'm very pleased with this, because I was hoping they would animate the "Bleach on the Beach" chapter!!!
