I do not have my phone. I suspect this is one of those days when lots of people might wish to contact me, and I do not have my phone.

If any of you run into my mother, tell her that I do not have my phone and that I am not, in fact, ignoring her. I know where my phone is, but it is not in my possession.

Sometimes, when I'm writing, "All Normal," for the sixth or seventh time on my log sheet overnight, I want to write, "All Hell Breaks Loose," instead.

Power's out. Generators are keeping the servers and phones up. Laptop's on battery. It's so exciting!

the first thing we noticed was the smoke: thick, black and billowing over traffic. then the smell hits, subtle at first. something smells wrong. something is burning. then i see it, the source of the smoke, the flickering orange flames. is that the right hand lane? the center? it seems big whatever it is. please tell me that smell isn't ( Read more... )
