So I thought about these, and I decided that Molly probably has tried to kill Nightingale (there's something about the way Nightingale explains that there's only a one in five chance of surviving doing haemomancy with Molly that suggests personal experience), and I think that the only way it would be too late for Lewis to apologise to Hathaway is if one of them was dead, so I decided to go for my very first ficlet for Scott & Bailey. And I decided what Gill and Rachel needed was the application of large quantities of alcohol and trauma to make that situation possible, and fortunately canon provided me with both at the end of S3

This is brilliant! :) I don't usually read Scott&Bailey -it was simply a tempting prompt to offer because it's basically the only fanfic where I'd expect heavy cussing & cursing- but I think if you wrote more I might give it a try. *tempting smile*

My favourite part is the gentleness of the scene despite the searing. :) And I do love that you added Janet, too. I felt bad for leaving her out as soon as I'd set the prompt. :)
