Ah, so that's the retcon you spoke of... somewhere. Yeah, not really that bovvered either.

Tumblr has eaten my life. I am so not joking. You don't even know how bad it's gotten. The things it's lead me to. *sobs*

Speaking of Lead we had a send out for Arsenic the other day. I pretty much invented an entire murder plot story in my head over that one.

I love the dresses. The first is my favorite but the last one is so you. You should treat yourself to a nice dress you love.

So...yeah..

Yeah, I meant to get back to you in response to your post (and still do), but thought I'd bring it up while I was writing about SPN here. I also don't recall it ever being mentioned before that John had any daddy issues. But again, it can be hand-waved. Seriously, why not make daddy issues a multi-generational thing... like making deals. Heh.

Do we need an intervention? Tumblr is crack, it really is.

*snort* Is this 1920? I didn't realize people still poisoned with arsenic.

The first is my favorite too. But. $90. *shivers* The green one was is even more costly, and no one would ever see the sleeves on me, which is one of its strongest features. Still, suppose it doesn't hurt to look and dream.

SPN has been filling me with the warm and fuzzies of late...which is a sharp departure from pretending that it ended with S5 and that the last 3 seasons are an extended ad campaign for cute boys in flannels...I mean you've sold me already, I'll take 2!

Those dresses are lovely...I do like a dress.

I SOOO enjoy your fragrance blogging...I'm kind of a scent girl myself, I just realized this is what I want for Valentine's Day, I think I'll make myself alittle wish list I can pass along to my honey.

My new favorite, Tokyomilk's Kabuki09 :sugared grapefruit, lychee, and sweet jasmine. I couldn't decide if I loved it or hated it....lol...I just knew I couldn't stop sniffing.

Neil, he's just my favorite weirdo...and now after watching that I'm itching for some RockyHorror :)

*nods* For the first half of this season, I'd really been wondering if SPN should have ended when Kripke originally intended. Thank goodness the aesthetics kept us going! ;P But now, I'm hopeful again. Don't let us down, Show!

Me too, though not many opportunities to wear them.

I would definitely recommend trying out those scents. And the prices are pretty good for decent-sized bottles. I'm so happy that people are making fannish scents on Etsy. Had been waiting for BPAL to get around to doing something SPN-based for ages, and now it's no longer necessary. Those would make excellent Valentine's gifts. :)

And, omg, yes! My dresser is crowded with bottles of fragrances. It's ridiculous, but so much fun. :) Yay for Etsy.

OMG, I remember that now about the retconning! Damn, good catch, I would not have remembered on my own. Well, that's disappointing. I tend to think that SPN does pretty well on continuity, usually ( ... )

To be fair, someone on tumblr caught it. I had no recollection of it at the time I was watching the episode, although the bit about John having issues with his father had struck me as new information. The odd thing is that Jeremy Carver wrote "In The Beginning," so you'd think, now that he's the showrunner, he'd have been aware of that retcon. Ah well. Could be worse.

I'll have to keep my eye out for that sort of fic. I haven't been reading much lately. However, I did read a nice Wincesty coda to "Everybody Hates Hitler" set in the bat cave: hereTumblr sucks time away. So if you don't have the time to give, I don't think I'd recommend it. I haven't really made any new connections there either. It's a lot of fun, but it's not like LJ used to be ( ... )
