I finally saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows tonight. While I enjoyed it just as much as Ritchie's first Sherlock Holmes film, loved the visuals, adored RDJ and Jude Law and Jared Harris (who I felt did a lovely turnabout as Moriarty, from benign to sadistic) and Noomi Rapace and Stephen Fucking Fry (possibly stealing the movie with one ( Read more... )

Last night and the night before, I drove 35 miles (through ridiculous traffic that made each trip to the cinema way longer than it should've been) to see the National Theatre Live showings of Danny Boyle's Frankenstein.

I'm not sure if anyone else is interested in this... but here is the Hunger Games trilogy mix I made for myself.

1.) I keep seeing the banner for Black March. And while I get the impetus behind the boycott, I cannot support it. By all means, boycott the major media outlets. Don't download music from iTunes or Amazon, don't buy your books from B&N, etc. But don't hurt the independent artists and retailers.
