I'm thinking about going through my sometimes needed mind-cleanse. By that I go on social sabbatical. Previously I'd take a week or two and isolate myself from social activities just to take stock and make sure I'm centered and where I want to be in my life without the distraction of external noise. The big bounce
Another fall on the bike today. This time was just silly inattentiveness as I was trying to get going while starting up my Edomondo tracker. I let my wheel slip off the edge of the pavement, causing it to stop dead and pitch me forward right. how I spent my 3 day weekend
Day 1 (Sunday): Brunch with Norris at the Mo Hist Museum. Not as pricey as some and not the standard fare. No eggs in chafing dishes but they included a la carte ordering in small portions. Perfect. Order a Belgian Waffle and out comes an Eggo© sized made to order, perfectly syruped mouthful. The Eggs Benedict.... I felt as if I was a judge ( Read more... ) -
Daylight savings time or winter's saving day?
What a nice surprise. I was disappointed that I'd been so focused on Mardi Gras and St Patrick's day that I'd not realized that I had three days of nothing planned before leaving for TBRU. I had checked out ski trip packages but the flights alone would have been over $800 -doable but not acceptable fir only a day and a half of skiing.

Minneapolis Deep Service in town for the annual volleyball tournament at FoPaCoCo. After the initial contact with Jason back in January, he tore his left gastrocnemius leading me to think he may not bake it after all. Good thing, he and the team were still able to make it down. The best of the rest (of the year so far)
Happy hours with the work guys- The guys from work keep wanting to get together but on MONDAY evenings because that's when Hooter's has their all you can eat wing special.
