CakeKraft Vegan Cakes Now at Govinda's

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that thanks in part to the recommendation of SuperCarrot, I am now selling my vegan cakes at Govinda's. My cakes are moist, moist, moist and delicious! They are currently carrying my carrot cake, chocolate cake and various cheesecakes. This week they are selling my apple pie cheesecake. Thanks!!

I saw the apple pie cheesecake yesterday and it looked SO GOOD, but I had to resist it's call. I will have to try it sometime, though. :)

I haven't been there since last summer, so I'm not sure what their cakes are like.

I 'd like to say that I agree w/ Boutell, that you can promote yrself w/out putting other vegans down. Do you know the other company/baker?

Vegans need more choices, selections !

It is depressing to see the same cakes at Whole Foods for months. (Chicago) As if vegan chefs have no variety or creativity. I think you'd have a great business offering what is not already sold.

Also, think of allergies. You could make alternatives/other choices. For example, I am allergic to almonds...otherwise I would try the vegan strawberry cake here instead of eating the carrotcake weekly. They have a chocolate chip zuchinni square that is out of this world here... Any chance you'll make those? I'd miss them when back in Philly. ;)

i may or may not have been the first govinda's customer to try the apple pie cheesecake. very well done. i'm looking forward to the carrot cake on my next visit.

I apologize to those who thought that my post came off mean spirited, I really didn't mean to put anyone down. I think anyone who bakes vegan cakes is truly awesome. I was responding to the people who said they didn't like the cakes there, but I could have said it in in a different way. Sorry!!

Great! I hope you like them!! Just make sure you ask for CakeKraft as they still carry the ones you tried before. Enjoy!
